we are given

number of cubes in bottom is 3*16=18

we can see that

number of layers is 8

now, we can find total number of cubes

total number of cubes = number of layers*number of cubes in bottom

so, we get

total number of cubes = 8*18

total number of cubes is 144

so, option-C..........Answer
