The line contains the points (-4,0) and (0,-2).

slope of the line= m =
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1)) =(-2-0)/(0-(-4)) = -(1)/(2)

Slope-intercept formula is

y=mx +b

m= - 1/2, b=-2, b is y-intercept.

(y= (-1/2)x -2) /*2

2y = -x - 4

x + 2y = - 4 is standard form of the line.
