Suppose a bag contains 7 blue chips and 3 gold chips. What is the probability of randomly choosing a blue Chip, not replacing it, and then randomly choosing a gold chip?

So there are 10 total chips. The probability of choosing a blue chip is
(7)/(10). Then, after that the probability of picking a gold chip would be
(3)/(9), so you multiply the probabilities here to get
(7)/(30).
