The solid line has a rise of 2 for each unit of horizontal run, so has a slope of 2. It crosses the y-axis at -2, so has equation y = 2x-2. The shading is below that line, so represents the solution to y ≤ 2x - 2.
The dashed line has a "rise" of -1 for each unit of horizontal run, so has a slope of -1. It crosses the y-axis at +3, so has equation y = -x + 3. The shading is above that line so represents the solution to y > -x+3.
