Please Please help me with this answer

Kayla bought a box with both blueberry and poppyseed muffins. There were 14 more blueberry muffins than poppyseed muffins, and there were 56 muffins in all. How many poppyseed muffins did Kayla buy?

There's an easy way to write this problem that will help you figure it out. Write the equation as: 2x + 14 = 56 or 56 - 14 = 2x.

56 - 14 = 42 42 / 2 = 21 Your final answer is 21!

21 poppyseed muffins. Let’s say that poppyseed muffins = x and blueberry muffins also = x but + 14 more would be
x + 14. So to solve x + x + 14 = 56
Simplifies to x=21 and 21 + 14 = 35 both combined equals 56.
