The explicit formula for the nth term of an arithmetic sequence is
a_n=a_1+(n-1)*d. What is the simple formula corresponding to the explicit formula if the first term of the sequence is -10 and the difference between terms in the sequence is 5?

If the first term is -10, then a1 is -10, and if the difference is 5, then d is -5. So your formula filled in accordingly would look like this:

a_(n)=-10-5(n-1)
