Eight increase by the product of a number and 6 is at least 18?

Here it is given that the unknown variable is b. So its product with 6 is 6b.

And 6b increased by 8 is


6b+8

And it is atleast 18.

So we will get


6b+8 \geq 18

Now we have to solve for b. ANd for that, first we subtract 8 to both sides


6b\geq 10

Now we divide both sides by 6


b \geq (10)/(6)


b \geq (5)/(3)
