x-2y = -29

x-y = -11

we can solve for x in the second equation by adding y to both sides

x= -11 + y

now we can plug this in for the x value in the first equation to solve for y

-11 + y -2y = -29

-11-y=-29

-y= -18

y =18

now that we know what y is equal to, we can plug it in to either equation to solve for x

x-18= -11

x = 7

7 , 18

hope this helped

x - 2y = -29
x - y = -11

first solve for x in the first equation;
x = 2y - 29

now substitute it into the second equation;
x - y = -11

2y - 29 - y = -11
y - 29 = -11

solve for y;
y - 29 = -11
y = -11 + 29
y = 18

solve for x by substituting what y equals;
x = 2y - 29
x = 2(18) - 29
x = 7

so your answer is, (7, 18)

hope this helped!! blessings x
