Hello!

A scatter plot only has a positive or negative trend if it is somewhat linear. This graph is not. A random trend isn't really a proper mathematical term; you are suppose to use no trend.

Therefore, our answer is B) no trend.

If you can't see a trend, it is because there is no trend.

If there is a positive trend, dots on the right side will generally be higher than those on the left side. For a negative trend, the opposite is true: dots on the right side will generally be lower than those on the left. "Random trend" is not a recognized description of a trend.
