Washing dishes is a no-brainer for almost all of us, but when done incorrectly, it can lead to health hazards. After going through the dish-washing steps such as washing, rinsing and sanitizing, there goes the last step which is drying. In drying kitchen utensils it could be through wiping down dishes or air-drying with the use of a towel. Wiping down dishes can actually increase the risk of cross-contamination because towels can be contaminated with food particles or items or germs. Also, if the towel becomes wet, it becomes a breeding ground for germs.
