A backpack has a mass of 8kg. it is lifted and given 54.9 J of gravitational potential energy. How high is it lifted? Acceration due to gravity is g=9.8m/s2

The height of the bag pack is 0.7 m.

The gravitational potential energy is given by the formula

P=mgh

Now plugging the values in the above equation to calculate the height of the bag pack

54.9=8*9.81*h

h=0.7 m

Therefore the bag pack is lifted to the height of 0.7 m.
