Area=base x height divided by 2
A= 3 x 4 / 2
A= 6cm^2

For the first one, use the Pythagorean theorem which is a^2+b^2=c^2 where c is the longest side which is also the side you’re trying to find. So 3^2+4^2=9+16=25 then you find the square root of 25 which is 5
