First option as we can see that he learnt 24 word in 4 weeks
So we take the #of words learnt and divide it by the # of weeks
So 24/4 = x
x = 6 words per week

If Alan learned 24 new vocabulary words in 4 weeks, if we divide the number of vocabulary words (24) by the number of weeks (4) to find the unit rate.

24/4 = 6

This means that the unit rate is 6 new words per week, or the first option.

Hope this helps!
