a person is trying to lift a crate that has mass of 15.3 kg. the normal force of the floor is currently supplying 150 n force. how much force does the person need to supply in order to pick up the crate

When the crate will leave the floor normal force due to floor on it must be zero.

So here we can say that if we applied force "F" on the crate

then our force must have to replace the normal force on the crate so that crate leave the contact with the floor.


F = N


F = 150 N

So our applied force must be 150 N
