Hello!

To find the area of a trapezoid, you use the formula below, where a and b represent the two bases, and h is the height.

0.5(a+b)(h)

Let's plug in our numbers.

0.5(7.5+2.5)(2.5)

0.5(10)(2.5)

5(2.5)

12.5

Therefore, our area is 12.5 square units.
