A 1.5m wire carries a 2 A current when a potential difference of 59 V is applied. What is the resistance of the wire?

We can use the relation of ohm's law to find out the resistance of wire


V = i R

given that

V = 59 volts

i = 2 A

now as per above formula


59 = 2 * R


R = 29.5 ohm

So resistance of wire is 29.5 ohm.
