A grocery store sells twelve bottles of water for $13.80 a convenient store sells ten bottle of water for $11.80. which store has the better buy why?

At the same rate, the price of 12 bottles of water at the convenience store would be

(12/10)·$11.80 = $14.16 . . . . . this is more than $13.80

On average the cost for the same number of bottles of water is higher at the convenience store. The grocery store has the better buy.
