The diameter of the cylinder given = 3 yd.

the height given = 4 yd.

The radius is half of the diameter. So, the radius of the cylinder = (3/2)yd.

The formula to find the volume of the cylinder =
\pi r^2h

Where, r = radius, and h = height.

Now we can find the volume by plugging in the values of r and h in the formula.

The required volume of the cylinder

=
\pi r^2h

=
\pi (3/2)^2 (4)

=
\pi (9/4) 4

=
36\pi /4

=
9\pi

Volume of the cylinder =
9\pi yd^3 = 27.3 yd³
