The cylinder:

r = x, h = x

substitute:

V_1=\pi\cdot x^2\cdot x=\pi x^3\approx3.14x^3

The cube:

V =Bh → V = a²· a = a³

a = 2x

substitute:

V_2=(2x)^3=2^3x^3=8x^3

Difference:

V_2-V_1=8x^3-3.14x^3=4.86x^3

Answer: 4.86x³
