Let's assume the width of the recangular garden is w feet.

Given that, the length of a rectangular garden is three times its width.

So, expression for length will be:

l = 3w.

Another information is also given as the area of a rectangle community the garden is 300 square feet. So,

Area = 300

Length * width = 300

3w * w = 300

3w² = 300

(3w^2)/(3) =(300)/(3) Dividing each sides by 3 to isolate w.

w² = 100

w = √100

w = 10

So, width of the garden is 10 feet.

Since, length = 3w

So, length = 3(10) = 30 feet.

Hence, length and width of the garden is 30 feet and 10 feet respectively.

Hope this helps you!
