= 3x(2x^2 - 4x - 5) - 6(2x^2 - 4x - 5)

= 6x^3 - 12x^2 - 15x - 12x^2 + 24x + 30

= 6x^3 - 24x^2 + 9x + 30 (answer)

For the simplification of such equations, we use the VBODMAS method.

This means first we simplify V i.e. Vinculum or Bar

then B i.e. Brackets,

O i.e. order of exponent roots

D i.e. division

M i.e. multiplication

A i.e. addition

S i.e. subtraction

Now, solving given expression,

(3x - 6)(2x² - 4x - 5)

= 6x³ - 12x² - 15x -12x² + 24x + 30 { We mulplied both brackets term}

{ Also, xᵃ × xᵇ = xᵃ⁺ᵇ }

= 6x³ -24x² - 9x + 30
