How can you determine the domain and range of a function?

It depends on the function, typically the domain and range are x and y respectively. It would be best to graph it, but for different functions, here is how you can determine the domain and range.

Linear Functions - domain is all the x values so for a linear function this would be negative infinity to infinity. Range works as the same but is all the Y values.

Quadratic Function - For a quadratic function, it depends if the parabola is a minimum or maximum as one way will go to infinity. For range, it is negative infinity to infinity.

Exponential Function - The range is all real numbers except one number and the domain is all numbers.

Hope this helps!
