Answer:

Kim will save more than Ben.

Explanation:

Wouldn't that be the answer. Just because Ben started out with bigger values does not mean that he will have numbers greater than Kim. Kim: 3,9,27 Ben:8,11,14. 27 is bigger than 14.

AS you can see in the table, you have two functions into each one of them in their savings, Jim has the n^x function and Ben has the 3x+5 function, this means that Ben´s savings function is a liner funtion, and Kim´s Savings function is a exponential function, meaning that it will grow larger and faster than Bens function. So in the long run, Kim will save more than Ben.
