we are given

y=|2x|-1

we are given to translate this equation

Whenever we translate any function to right side by 'c' units

we can replace x as x-c

Here , we have to translate one unit right

so, we can replace x as x-1

and we get

y=|2(x-1)|-1..........Answer

f(x + n) - translate n units left

f(x - n) - translate n units right

f(x) + n - translate n units up

f(x) - n - translate n units down

We translate the graph 1 unit to the right, therefore we have f(x - 1). Substitute to the equation of function f(x) = |2x| - 1

f(x - 1) = |2(x - 1)| - 1 = |2x-2| - 1 = 2|x-1| - 1
