we are given

y=(1)/(3) x-4...........(1)

y=-(7)/(3) x+4...........(2)

we can plug second equation into first one

-(7)/(3) x+4=(1)/(3) x-4

now, we can solve for x

(7)/(3) x+(1)/(3) x=4+4

(8)/(3) x=8

x=8*(3)/(8)

x=3

now, we can find y

y=(1)/(3) *3-4

y=-3

so, we will get solution as

(x,y)=(3,-3).............Answer
