We can write the equation of line in the form

y=mx +b

where m is slope , and b is y intercept

Now the slope formula is

m= \frac{{(y_(2) - y_(1))}}{{(x_(2) - x_(1))}}

let's plug the points in the formula to find slope

m=
((1.5-0.2))/((0.5-0.8)) =(1.3)/(-0.3)= (-13)/(3)

So we get equation as

y=(-13)/(3) +b

Now we have to find the value of b also

to find the value of b , we can plug any one point

0.2 = (-13)/(3) (0.8) +b

0.2= (52)/(15) +b

b=(-49)/(15)

So the equation is

y=(-13)/(3) x - (49)/(15)
