So we first have to find the area of the whole circle using A = πr^2 then dividing it by 4
A= π*4^2
A= 16π or 50.27
So now we take the whole area and divide it by 4 so the answer is 12.57

Area of circle = pi r^2 = 3.14 x 4^2 = 50.24 square miles

Quarter circle's area = 50.24 /4 = 12.56 square miles
