The median is 32.5 because you add the middle two numbers ( 31 and 34), then divide by 2 so your answer will come out to be 32.5 :)

Answer: Median of this data set is 32.5.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

14, 18, 31, 34, 44, 50.

As it is in increased order.

Here, n = 6

which is even.

So, Median is given by

\frac{\drac{n}{2}+(n)/(2)+1}{2}\\\\=((6)/(2)+(6)/(2)+1)/(2)\\\\=(3^(rd)+4^(th))/(2)\\\\=(31+34)/(2)\\\\=(65)/(2)\\\\=32.5

Hence, median of this data set is 32.5.
