Triangle has vertecies at points A(2,4), B(-2,8) and C(-4,2). In order to find the image A'B'C' of this figure after a dilation with a scale factor of 1/2 and center of dilation at the origin, combine points A, B and C with origint by line. Then dilate each segment OA, OB and OC in 1/2 times (this means divide into two equal parts), the midpoints will be points A', B' and C'.

Therefore, A'(1,2), B'(-2,4) and C'(-2,1). Plot these points on the coordinate plane and combine them with each other, then you obtaun the image triangle A'B'C'.
