Which point lies on the line with point-slope equation y-3=4(x+7)

Point slope is y - y1 = m(x - x1).

m is the slope, y1 is the y coordinate, and x1 is the x coordinate.

So, the point that lies on the line in the equation is (-7, 3).

Point slope equation for point (h,k) and slope m is given by

y-k=m(x-h)

compare given equation with formula

we get h=-7, k=3

so the required point is (-7,3)
