We have to find the probability that a randomly selected girl will have above average grades.

Probability is the measure of an likelihood that an event will occur.

Probability is calculated by the formula =
(Favourable outcomes)/(Total outcomes)

Total number of girls = 38

Number of girls Girls who have above average grades = 22

P(randomly selected girl with above average grades)=
(22)/(38)

= 0.58
