You're looking for the numerator of the equivalent fraction. To do that, you can use the rule of 3 (there are many ways of finding it):

2 → m

5 → 70

(70 * 2) / 5 = m

140 / 5 = m

28 = m

To prove the answer, you do the division,

2/5 = 0,4

28 / 70 = 0,4

Therefore 2/5 = 28/70

Answer:

\boxed{\bf~28~is~the~missing~denominator~called~m.}

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!
