Translate (-4, -5) up 3 units. Then reflect the result over the Y axis. What’s is the coordinate of the final point?

Your point would be (-4, -5 + 3) = (-4, -2)

Then reflect (x, y) ---> (-x, y) in this case (-(-4), 2) = (4, -2)

Translate (-4, -5) up 3 units.

adding 3 to the y coordinate we get,

(-4,-5+3) = (-4,-2)

Then reflect the result over the Y axis.

changing x to -x

(-(-4),-2 )

final point (4,-2)
