we are given

$\sum _(n=0)^4\:\left(1+3n\right)$

we can find it's sum

$\sum _(n=0)^4\:\left(1+3n\right)=(1+3*0)+(1+3*1)+(1+3*2)+(1+3*3)+(1+3*4)$

$\sum _(n=0)^4\:\left(1+3n\right)=35$

now, we can find second sum

$\sum _(i=2)^6\:\left(3i-5\right)=(3*2-5)+(3*3-5)+(3*4-5)+(3*5-5) + (3*6-5)$

$\sum _(i=2)^6\:\left(3i-5\right)=35$

so, we can see that

both sums are 35

so, their difference will be 0
