The graph represents a parabola which opens towards right . ANd for such parabola, the equation of the parabola is


x=a(y-k)^2 +h

Here the vetex, (h,k) is (1,2).And it passes through point (2,5) . So on substituting these values, we will get


2=a(5-2)^2 +1 => 2=9a +1=>a=1/9

So the required equation is


x=(1)/(9)(y-2)^2 +1
