Hello!

First of all, +8 is a positive number. It is a whole number, or a positive integer.

Next, -8 is a negative number. It is an integer but not a whole number.

Finally, {8} is a positive number. It would still be positive if a -8 was put inside of it. The absolute value is the distance from 0 in units, which is always positive.

I hope this helps!

+8 means that it is a positive number
-8 means that it is a negative number
I think what you mean by: {8}, is |8| which is absolute value which means no matter the answer it is the absolute value from 0 so it’s always +
