Force of gravity on the block in the water=3528 N. so option (A) is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Force of gravity= mg

m= mass

g= acceleration due to gravity= 9.8 m/s²

mass m= volume x density

m=0.09 x 4000= 360 Kg

so force of gravity= 360 (9.8)

force of gravity=3528 N

The correct answer is option A, 3.528 N

In this question the water has nothing to do, the gravity always pull the object with the same magnitude irrespective of the medium.

The force of gravity is calculated as

F=0.09*4000*9.8

=3.528 N
