Question

In the short story, "The Cask of Amontillado," the reader is never told what the exact insult was that caused Montresor to seek revenge against Fortunato. Write to tell what happened before the story begins in "The Cask of Amontillado."

I need to write an essay, but im having trouble knowing what to write? its supposed to be a narritave, but am I just supposed to just make it up? like what i personally think or can imagine what happened? please help, ive pushed it off and now its due in 2 hours and im freaking

I think you could write it from Fortunato's point of view and show the teacher the way you see Fortunato and how he can mess things up so bad while he is drinking
