What is the best meaning of the term "the irreducible plurality of values"? some values, such as the value of human life or certain aesthetic goods, cannot be reduced to measurable utility. values cannot be reduced to measurable utility because there is no such thing as pleasure or pain. there is never a right moral choice when there are multiple actions to choose from?

The answer is "some values, such as the value of human life or certain aesthetic goods, cannot be reduced to measurable utility".

In ethics, value pluralism is the possibility that there are a few qualities which might be similarly right and crucial, but in conflict with each other. Moreover, value pluralism hypothesizes that much of the time, such incongruent values might be incommensurable, as in there is no objective requesting of them as far as significance.
