Since there is an even number of numbers, we take the two middle numbers and find the mean of them: (9 + 9)/2 = 9.

So, the median is 9.

The mean is when you add all the numbers up and divide that by the number of numbers:

(8 + 8 + 9 + 9 + 10 + 12)/6 = 56/6 which is about 9.3.

The median is 9 minutes, and the mean is about 9.3 minutes.
