By order of operations, you would want to do the multiplication first:

(12/3) * (4/5) = 4 * 4/5 = 16/5

Then:

16/5 + 4/5 = 20/5 = 4

The answer is 4.

12/3(4/5)+4/5

(12)/(3) *(4)/(5) +(4)/(5)

Using PEMDAS rule,

multiplying first

(12)/(3) *(16)/(5) +(4)/(5)

Adding the two fractions we get:

20/5

=4
