Hey!
There are many ways. Here are 2 of them:
Divide the numerator by the denominator. You will get a decimal. Move the decimal point 2 places to the right and add a percent sign.
![3 / 5 = 0.6](https://img.qammunity.org/2019/formulas/mathematics/middle-school/xno0e7b54m550krofcy7z4xpm1indt49aj.png)
![0.6 \rightarrow 60 \%](https://img.qammunity.org/2019/formulas/mathematics/middle-school/mj73p0uitjj1jfwfuxj0snqqki0oly852s.png)
Multiply 3/5 by 100 and add the % sign.
![(3)/(5) * 100 = (300)/(5) = 60](https://img.qammunity.org/2019/formulas/mathematics/middle-school/4yse3s22fn7rdwxhdvssctkj6guzitv6op.png)
![60 \rightarrow 60 \%](https://img.qammunity.org/2019/formulas/mathematics/middle-school/ls0dh5brzue3wm5izyixlmcy1n5f1h79tc.png)
Your answer is 60%
Good luck and hope this helps!
