Step 1 ) Multiply both sides by 4.

\displaystyle(3)/(4) h = 12

\displaystyle\ 4 * (3)/(4) h = 12 * 4

3h = 48

Step 2 ) Divide both sides by 3.

3h = 48

\displaystyle(3h)/(3) =(48)/(3)

h = 16

Our answer is now in simplest form meaning the final answer to this equation is...

3/4h = 12

To solve this equation, you must isolate h. To isolate h, you must multiply the coefficient by its reciprocal. The reciprocal of 3/4 is 4/3. Multiply each side of the equation by 4/3, and then simplify to solve for h.

3/4h = 12

3/4h(4/3) = 12(4/3)

12/12h = 48/3

h = 48/3

h = 16

Answer:

h = 16
