Do you think the Reid technique is an effective method of interrogation? Why or why not?

The Reid technique is an effective method of interrogation, just not all of the time. When using this method, it should be avoided on children because it can sometimes lead to false results which would cause even more problems. There are probably better ways to perform an interrogation, but if it is the only remaining option, it would not be a bad idea to try it.

Answer:

no

Step-by-step explanation:

A polygraph has a high false alarm rate. Whether or not this type of test is an accurate way to depict whether a person is lying or not has been a debated issue. The test is based on physiological reactions, and the evidence of whether these reactions depict if a person is lying or not isn't concrete.
