Please separate equations with commas, or place only one equation on each line:

3x+2y=-6

y= (-3/2)x+2

Comparing the two functions is easier if we solve the first equation for y, as this shows us the slope explicitly.

Subtracting 3x from both sides of the first equation, we get 2y = - 6 - 3x.

Dividing both sides of this result gives us y = (-3/2)x - 3

We see that the slopes of the two lines are the same, but that the y-intercepts are different. The correct graph shows two parallel lines, both with slope -3/2, and one line with y-intercept 2, and the other line with y-intercept -3.

The answer is B. because the other person who answered it sounds right, but they never said which exact answer.

They said the each line had a y-intercept of 2 and another y-intercept of -3. That means you have to look at either A or B and look at where they cross at the Y line.

In A, the lines's y-intercepts are 2 and -6 which is not what the other person said.

In B, if you look at where the lines cross at the Y line, they cross at 2 and -3.

Therefore, the answer is B.
