The equation used to predict college gpa (range 0-4.0) is modifyingabove y with caret equals 0.22 plus 0.51 x 1 plus 0.002 x 2y=0.22+0.51x1+0.002x2, where x1 is high school gpa (range 0-4.0) and x2 is college board score (range 200-800). use the multiple regression equation to predict college gpa for a high school gpa of 3.13.1 and a college board score of 500500.

The college GPA for a high school GPA of 3.1 and a college board score of 500 will be 2.801

The equation to predict college GPA is :

y= 0.22+0.51x1+0.002x2

where x1 is high school GPA and x2 is college board score.

According to the question, here x1= 3.1 and x2= 500

So, we will plug the values of x1 and x2 into the above equation..

y= 0.22+(0.51*3.1)+(0.002*500) \\ \\ y=0.22+1.581 +1\\ \\ y=2.801

So, the college GPA for a high school GPA of 3.1 and a college board score of 500 is 2.801
