Monsters of the deep refer to the ocean that is full of amazing creatures and mysteries. Such creatures inhabit so deep in the ocean that they too can be the source of nightmare among humans. Some of the creatures mentioned are:
Atlantic hagfish, a part eel, who lives 5,600 feet deep into the ocean. They locate and catch their prey with an excellent sense of smell. Another creature is Gulper Eel, they go as deep as 6,000 feet beyond a human’s ability to reach them.
Lastly, talking about Vampire Squid,
•the last surviving monster of its type is one of the ancient deep-sea monsters who can only reach the length of 6 inches. It consists of features alike part octopus, part squid and part fish.
•In describing their physical appearance, at the top of their head, they have large fins like ears, which help them move around. Like an octopus, it can change its color and has a large head and tentacles. Sometimes it makes itself invisible by making its color dark.
•It has got larger eyes compared to its body size, “Despite its mere six-inch length, its eyes are as big as those of a large dog”.
With such features, it is rightly titled after the vampires. Also, they are the odd members of the sea who resides in mysterious regions, which are not yet visited by humans.
