So remember that one property of kites is that their non-vertex angles, in this case Angle B and D, are congruent to each other. And now that we know 3/4 angles of this kite, we can set up an equation to find Angle A.

Since quadrilaterals' interior angles add up to 360°, our equation can be set up as such: 85 + 85 + 140 + A = 360 . From here we can solve for A.

Firstly, add everything on the left side: 310 + A = 360

Next, subtract 310 on both sides, and your answer will be: A = 50°
