sum of interior angles in a pentagon = 180(n - 2)

= 180(5 - 2)

= 180(3)

= 540

There are 6 equal angles in a pentagon

540 / 6 = 108

<3 = 1/2(108) = 54

answer:

D. 54

It's a pentagon, so each central angle like angle 1 is 360/5=72 degrees. So angle 2 is half that, 36 degrees. Angle 3 is complementary to that 90-36=54 degrees.

Last choice, 54°
