Suppose you are in a crowded fast-food restaurant carrying a tray full of food. A stranger bumps into you and knocks the tray out of your hand, spilling your food on the floor. How would you react in the heat of the moment? Write an appropriate response that shows effective use of I and an assertive communication style.

Answer: "Oh, no! I was trying to be so careful. I'll check with the cashier to see if I can get another meal. I'm sure this sort of thing happens all the time. Meanwhile, I'd like you to find an employee with a mop so nobody slips on this mess."

It is important to stay calm and collective in these type of situations. A good way to respond would be "I don't appreciate you bumping into me. Please try to watch out next time, but it is okay". If the stranger forgets to say sorry, just ignore him. Hope this helped :))
